About

I love listening to what other people have to say. Everyone has a story to tell and everyone needs to be heard. I find people and their stories intriguing. This fascination probably started when I was doing a lot of business travel.  I would start up a convo with anyone and everyone. My neighbor sitting next to me on the plane, the room service attendant, the hotel concierge, and the most titillating of stories always came from cabbies! Watching people come alive when telling their stories keeps me on the edge of my seat and asking for more. Where are you from? How did you get here? What would you like to do with the rest of your life? What matters most to you? What matters least?… and more.

One of the most entertaining of  times is learning about what people eat when they’re stressed. I have always thought I had some pretty good solutions for dealing with that issue. I know for a fact that others do the same splurge eating and probably have better, or should I say more indulgent ways of dealing. So -

Do you gobble chocolate covered cherries when your boss infuriates you? Do you go for the gallon of Rocky Road when your boyfriend pisses you off? Or stop at the convenient store to get a Monster drink and Peanut M&M’s when your kids are driving you insane? Or do you do like I do, stop at Wendy’s, get a small chocolate frosty and a small french fry (after all, I’m watching my girlish figure) and dip away until everything is gone.

Once we’re done with stress foods, we’ll delve into important topics but for starters, let’s talk food!
